Rachel Bentley has been drawing from a very young age and grew so passionate about art she decided that it was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. She received her acceptance letter to RIT in 2005 to study illustration and received her BFA in February 2009. Since then she has been working in the design field and creating children's books on the side - her true passion! She is very excited to have the opportunity to work on this book for the school that gave her the chance to succeed in the field of art. Rachel can also be found online at Rachel Bentley Design.
Early sketches for the book were done by Julie Brady. Under the direction of the Authors, Julie drew sketches that helped provide a vision for what RITchie would be doing, page after page, as he searched for his stripes. Julie has recently graduated from RIT with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computing Security and now serves as a Systems Administrator in Austin, Texas at Indeed.
